A terrified Israeli family was rounded up by Hamas terrorists who used their teenage son as a pawn to execute their neighbors – before he and his mother were taken captive and killed.
Terrorists used Tomer to lure people out
Tomer Eliaz, 17, was ordered by terrorists to go door-to- door at the Nahal Oz kibbutz, near the Southern border of Israel and Gaza, and tell its residents in Hebrew it was ‘safe to open the door’ during the October 7 siege.
The terrorists then busted in, slaughtering everyone, as Eliaz was forced to witness the carnage and even help look for those who were hiding.
After the surprise attack, Tomer and his 50-year-old mother Dikla Arava Eliaz were both missing but it was confirmed on Monday that both were killed.
Video streamed live on Facebook by the terrorists shows the family huddled together as blood seeps from 48-year-old dad Noam Elyakim’s leg.
His eldest daughter Dafna, is sobbing with her hand over her mouth, as stepmother Dikla cradles his younger daughter Ella Elyakim, 8, in her lap.
Both girls and their wounded father were taken captive by Hamas and their mother, Mayaan Zin, who was not present, was sent harrowing photos of them in captivity.
The harrowing photos
It was Zin’s sister that forwarded her a photo of her 15-year-old dressed in what appears to be pajamas, sitting despondently on a mattress in Gaza.
The caption to the photo reads: ‘Wearing prayer clothes is better,’ written in Arabic.
Another disturbing image shows both of her children together but there is no sign of their father.
It is unclear how Zin’s sister came across the photos and as of Monday the girls’ condition, along with that of their missing father, remains unknown.
Speaking through a translator Zin said that her daughters weren’t supposed to spend the fateful weekend at their father’s home, but they had been visiting for a celebration at the kibbutz.
She said they were going to be performing in a dance.

Zin, who lives in Central Israel, said during the near midnight interview with DailyMail.com in tears: ‘I have no idea what is happening there. I have no idea if they are being tortured, raped, anything.’
She heard the horrific news early morning on October 7 when her sister called her to tell her that her older daughter has been kidnapped by Hamas. Zin said she immediately texted her ex.
It was 9:16am, nearly three hours after Hamas infiltrated the kibbutz and killed nearly hundred innocent civilians.
She said that her children don’t like the sound of the rockets when they launch and asked her ex if their daughters were okay, unaware that they were being held by two armed terrorists in their home.
In the text, she asked, ‘if everything was okay?’ and he responded, ‘No.’
Frantically, she tried calling her ex-partners girlfriend, Dikla and her family on WhatsApp, but the messages were undeliverable.
