Britney Spears’ father Jamie is reportedly living with her younger sister Jamie Lynn in Louisiana.

Jamie is recovering from a long battle with alcoholism, and left rehab in July after completing a 30-day program, a family insider revealed.

The source told the Daily Mail that Jamie, 71, has since been struggling to stay sober and has been living in Jamie Lynn’s guest house.

She resides in Hammond, Louisiana with her husband Jamie Watson and their two daughters, Ivey, five, and Maddie, 15.

The source also claimed that Jamie Lynn’s father has concerned family members with his drinking.

Despite this, her dad has still been fit enought to help with things around the house.

He’s reportedly been taking care of his young granddaughter while Jamie Lynn has been traveling for Dancing with the Stars.

Her stint on ABC’s popular dance competition came to an end this week, though, as she and her partner Alan Bersten were voted out after just two episodes.

Britney Spears is not laughing

While some members of the Spears clan are playing happy families in Louisiana, however, Jamie Lynn’s older sister Britney is apparently fuming over the new arrangement.

The source says the Toxic singer is ‘extremely bothered’ by her father’s new lodgings, coming off the back of Britney’s release in 2021 from the conservatorship that allowed him control over her career.

‘This obviously infuriates Britney for so many reasons,’ they said, per the Daily Mail.

‘She feels betrayed that her sister is putting up her dad and allowing him to watch her kids after what he did to her.

‘She cannot believe that Jamie is caring for Jamie Lynn’s daughters when he was partially to blame for Britney’s falling out with her two sons.’
