Boy, 13, stabbed in another attack on SAME DAY Eliyanna Andam killed

A 13-year-old schoolboy was stabbed in another south London attack yesterday afternoon, on the same day Elianne Andam was killed in Croydon.

2 stab attacks in one day

The attack on the teenage boy happened at around 3.30pm on Smallwood Road, Wandsworth, on September 27.

Police and paramedics rushed to the scene and the youngster was taken to hospital with stab wounds.

His injuries are said to be non life-threatening and non life-changing, and the Met Police confirmed the incident is being investigated.

Second attack

It was the second youth attack to take place in broad daylight yesterday, after 15-year-old ‘hero’ Elianne was stabbed to death on her way to school as she stepped in to protect a friend.

A teenage boy said to have been dressed in black stabbed Elianne in the neck and chest with a ‘sword-like’ zombie knife after her friend rejected his flowers and love letter, before he was arrested on a tram around an hour later.

Elianne, who dreamed of being a lawyer, was attacked at 8.30am yesterday after stepping off the number 60 bus outside the Whitgift Shopping Centre – less than a mile away from her school gates and around 600 yards from her home.

A bus driver and passers-by battled to save her but Elianne died on the pavement just minutes after the attack.

Her devastated family told MailOnline of their grief today. An aunt, who only gave her name as Marian, said: ‘You just can’t comprehend the heartbreak of the last 24-hours, how Elianne went to school and never came home’.
