The 85-minute interview

The 85-minute interview, which was carried out at the couple’s Montecito home in California in early March 2021 while Meghan was pregnant with their second child, Lilibet, caused shockwaves as they made shocking and damning claims about life inside the Firm.

The couple famously divulged allegations one member of the family had asked about the colour of Archie’s skin before he was born in a claim later refuted by the Palace.

When asked about seeking professional help by the veteran chat show host, Meghan said she was ‘told that I couldn’t, that it wouldn’t be good for the institution’.
