Manchester United star Marcus Rashford was involved in a car crash on the evening of his team’s Premier League win at Burnley.

The incident is reported to have occurred after the England star left United’s training ground.

Erik ten Hag’s squad had returned to Carrington by coach after their 1-0 win, with Rashford playing the full 90 minutes at Turf Moor as captain Bruno Fernandes scored the only goal of the game.

Rashford was driving his Rolls Royce after leaving the club’s training ground when the collision took place with another vehicle.

Images of the aftermath have been shared on social media showing a dent to a car following the crash.

Rashford was shaken but both he and the other driver escaped unhurt following the accident and did not require emergency medical attention.

Teammate Fernandes was nearby and checked on his teammate as onlookers watched on.

The England star, who collided into a bollard after the collision, checked on the other driver after climbing out of his vehicle.

Police were called to the scene and breathalysed both drivers as a routine measure and no further action was taken.

Earlier on Saturday, United had secured a narrow but valuable victory at Burnley to get their season back on track.

Ten Hag’s side were coming off a run of three defeats on the spin in all competitions, but captain Fernandes delivered the crucial winner.
