Kim Kardashian and Lauren Sanchez have been friends for years.
But on Tuesday evening the 42-year-old reality TV siren and the 53-year-old future wife of Jeff Bezos went head-to-head at a charity auction, DailyMail.com has learned exclusively.

The famous ladies competed with each other at the Kering Foundation’s Caring For Women dinner at The Pool in New York City.
During the auction called by auctioneer Lydia Fenet, Kim bid on the Couture Experience from Balenciaga. And then so did curvy Lauren.
They both ended up spending a fortune.
They each put in $200,000
Sanchez, who was across from Kim at another table, went back and forth bidding higher and higher on the experience.
The room fell silent as Kim bid, then Lauren, then Kim – and so on.
They finally called it at $200,000 but both ladies decided they would bid.
So they both won the experience, sharing it.
That means they each put in $200,000. At the same time, another person at Kim’s table added $200,000 to the bid.
In the end, that one item brought in a total of $600,000 for the charities.
Proceeds from the auction will go to Malala Fund, the National Network to End Domestic Violence, and the New York City Alliance Against Sexual Assault.
For 15 years, the Kering Foundation has partnered with organizations to help eradicate violence and improve the lives of survivors.
Event co-chairs are Salma Hayek Pinault and her husband François-Henri Pinault who works for Kering.
Kim was also with Lauren on Monday.
The 42-year-old SKIMS founder turned heads as she arrived for dinner at New York’s Mercer Hotel.
She had on a red snakeskin coat with her black hair down.
