Afrobeat Singer, Davido has said that he has been finding it difficult to sleep since Mohbad’s death, last Tuesday, September 12.
In a post he shared on his Instastories this morning, Davido said Mohbad’s ‘spirit is strong.’
He also revealed that he will be attending the late singer’s candlelight procession and tribute night.
Davido reportedly sent sum of 2 million naira to the bereaved family.
The singer, who was among the first celebrities to mourn the former Marlian signee, revealed that he is flying back to Nigeria this week for his candlelight procession and tribute.
The candlelight procession is slated to be held on Thursday, September 21st at Lekki Phase 1 gate at 5 pm while the tribute concert starts at 8 pm at Muri Okunola Park.
Many applauded Davido for his show of respect to the dead despite his busy schedule, while noting how he is always the first celebrity to lead his voice.
Recall that days back, Davido had stirred mixed reactions from netizens with his tribute to the late singer, Mohbad.
As many fans and lovers of the late singer expressed their condolences to his family, Davido had taken his to the extreme, by paying tribute to him at his Timeless tour in Manchester.
