Billionaire businessman, Tony Elumelu, has denied claims that President Tinubu plans to make him the next governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
The business tycoon debunked the claims while responding to a tweet made by an X user who made the report.
According to the X user with the handle Imran Muhammad, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is considering Tony as the governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria.

‘According to a Source President Tinubu is also considering Tony O. Elumelu as CBN Governor,’ the user wrote.
In reaction, Tony Elumelu claimed it is false news.
‘LOL. No, please. This is false news! 🙏🏾,’ he wrote in response.
