- Two females suffered broken bones while fleeing the scene
A 16-year-old Oklahoma teen has died after being gunned down at a football match between Del City and Choctaw High School on Friday.
Police reports
Police say the teen was not a student of either competing school and did not specify whether he died at the scene or in hospital.
No arrests have been made at this stage, however there is a person of interest in the case.
Police say that they recovered ‘two guns and eight rounds’ at the scene.
The footage
Terrifying footage of people desperately running from Bill Jensen Field emerged in the wake of the deadly shooting, with others seen laying low to the ground to avoid the spray of bullets.
‘It is believed an argument started between at least two males which led to the shooting,’ Choctaw Police Chief Kelly Marshall said in a statement.
‘Two guns and eight rounds were recovered at the scene.’
Marshall said a 42-year-old man was hospitalized in stable condition with a gunshot wound to the chest and a ‘young female’ was treated and released for a wound to her thigh.

He also said two other females suffered broken bones while fleeing the scene.
Shots were heard at around 10.15pm with less than five minutes left in the third quarter.
Seven Choctaw police officers were at the game at the time, including five hired by the Choctaw School District as security and two who had happened to stop by.
Marshall said that Reid and other school district officials were meeting ‘in order to provide counseling as well as discuss further safety measures for our students and spectators.’
