Taylor Swift shared a warm hug onstage with her ex Taylor Lautner during her concert in Kansas City on Friday night.

Swift has just a re-recording of her third studio album Speak Now which features some of her most famous breakup ballads.

This includes the tender track Back To December that she penned about her split from Lautner, who she briefly dated in 2009.

On Friday night, Lautner and his wife Taylor Dome were caught on camera arriving at Swift’s latest show in footage that has surfaced on Twitter.

And as the concert got going, Swift welcomed Lautner to the stage, along with the actress Joey King and Presley Cash.

During the performance, Swift debuted a new music video for her song I Can See You – starring herself with Lautner, King and Cash.

All three of her castmates appeared to be brimming over with ebullience Friday night as they bounded onto the stage to join Swift.

In a move certain to warm the hearts of the ‘Swifties,’ all four of them gathered together for an affectionate group hug.

When Lautner first walked onto the stage, he delighted the audience by performing a double cartwheel, in a moment captured on video and circulated on Twitter.

He was immediately greeted by an embrace from his ex-girlfriend, prompting another burst of cheers from the crowd.

During his speech, which has also surfaced on Twitter, Lautner dished that ‘by the way,’ he ‘didn’t plan the flip. It just – it felt right.

‘He graciously thanked the audience ‘for the energy,’ adding: ‘We had so much fun making this video. Taylor, thank you for having me and all of us.’

Lautner gushed: ‘I just wanna say one thing quick – I respect you so much, not for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer, but truly for the human you are.’

Recently, when asked how he feels about the song’s eventual resurgence, Lautner breezily told the TODAY show that he was not sweating it.

‘I think it’s a great album. Yeah, I feel safe,’ he said, adding that his wife — who previously admitted to being a fan of Swift — was very excited for its release.

Swift and Lautner met on the set of the star-studded rom-com Valentine’s Day in 2009 and went on to enjoy a whirlwind romance that fall.

Unlike many of her breakup songs, Back To December is Swift apologizing to Lautner for how things ended.

Though he likely won’t face the wrath of Swift’s devout fanbase, Lautner fears that the her ex John Mayer may not be as lucky. ‘Praying for John,’ the Michigan native added.

It’s long been alleged that the hitmaker’s shady track Dear John, which is featured on Speak Now, is about her age-gap relationship with the Mayer.

He told Rolling Stone in 2012 that the song ‘humiliated him’ and made him ‘feel terrible,’ insisting that ‘I didn’t deserve it. I’m pretty good at taking accountability now, and I never did anything to deserve that.’
