Photos: The Princess Of Wales Makes First Appearance At Wimbledon 2023

The Princess of Wales made her first appearance at Wimbledon this year, after impressing royal watchers with her tennis skills ahead of the tournament.

Kate, 41, looked elegant on day two of the event, wearing a mint green blazer over the top of a white pleated dress.

The royal’s striking jacket featured white lapels and white-covered buttons, giving us Princess Diana chic vibes. Kate also carried a small white bag as she arrived at the All England Lawn Tennis & Croquet Club (AELTC).

As expected, her raven locks were perfectly polished and she chose to wear her hair down for the occasion.

The Princess then took her seat on Court 18, and she didn’t appear to be with any other members of her family.

Kate was pictured flipping her hair over her should as she watched on, a signature move of the Princess that we’ve seen her daughter Charlotte replicate.

Sadly, the royal only lasted a short while court-side because the match between British number one Katie Boulter take on Australia’s Daria Saville was called off due to the rain.

Kate didn’t let the drizzle dampen her spirits and was still seen smiling under a large umbrella as she moved from her seat.

The royal was then seen in the royal box alongside former Wimbledon Champion, Roger Federer, and the pair were all smiles.

Last month, the Princess highlighted the important role of the Ball Boys and Girls of Wimbledon, as she played in a doubles match with the eight-time Wimbledon champion.

The Princess has a passion for tennis, that is shared by many members of the royal family.

Kate was also joined in the royal box by some of the late Queen Elizabeth II’s family members, including Prince Michael of Kent and his daughter, Lady Gabriella Kingston, and her husband, Thomas Kingston.

Cameron was also among the guests in the royal box. David served as prime minister from 2010 to 2016, while Samantha founded her womenswear brand, Cefinn, in 2017.

The Princess said of her visit in a tweet: “There’s nothing quite like the first week of Wimbledon. Fantastic to join the crowds watching @katiecboulter on Court 18 and @andy_murray on Centre Court.”
