Jamie Foxx is BACK AT WORK for first time months after terrifying hospital dash

Jamie Foxx is well and truly on the road to recovery after his scary hospitalisation.

The 55-year-old actor was spotted filming a commercial in Las Vegas this week.

It’s the first time he’s been back in front of the camera since a mysterious medical complication while on the set of Back In Action in April.

Jamie had shared images of the campaign to his own Instagram as he teased ‘big things’ are coming soon.

At the time, it wasn’t clear whether the images were relatively new or from before his health scare.

And now it’s been confirmed that the images were in fact from this week as the Hollywood star took to Sin City for a BetMGM ad.

He looked very smart dressed in a black suit and white shirt as he smiled for the camera.

His daughter, Corinne Foxx, also shared the snap and said she is ‘so proud’ of her dad.

The exciting campaign with BetMGM is set to see the star feature in a number of adverts for the betting company during football season.

He was also joined on the set by hockey legend Wayne Gretzky, who described the shoot as ‘one of the best nights of my life with the greatest person. Big things coming soon’.

The latest update comes weeks after Jamie was first seen out and about following the scare on set.

He smiled and waved at fans and even threw up a peace sign as he cruised down the Chicago River earlier in the month.

Following his hospitalisation in April, Jamie is thought to have had to spent time in a physical rehab centre.

There have been a number of different updates about his recovery from those close to him in the months that followed, with it now claimed that Jamie – whose credits include the films Ray (2004) and Django Unchained (2012) – was ‘still not himself’.

Discussing the actor’s health, a source told People magazine two weeks ago: ‘He is getting the best care and working hard to recover right now, but he is still not himself’.

The source further stated that those close to Jamie remain tight-lipped about his health, with them telling the outlet recently: ‘He has the tightest circle around him’.

His latest movie, They Cloned Tyrone is out on Netflix now.

It features pal John Boyega, 31, who had revealed Jamie hadn’t been very talkative in the months that followed his hospital dash.
