A young Nigerian man, Hamman Joda Isa, has tied the knot with a Norwegian woman, Diana Maria Lugunborg, whom he met on social media.
Isa, a member of a local security group and Diana connected online, started chatting, and eventually developed a relationship.
It was gathered that Diana recently travelled all the way from Norway to Nigeria to marry Isa.
Isa and Diana exchanged their vows at the High Court Registry in Yola Town a few days ago.
Following the ceremony, a wedding reception was held at an event center adjacent to the College for Legal Studies in Yola.
The event was well attended by friends and family of Isa.
