Singer Adebayo Adeleke aka B-Red, who is the son of Osun State Governor, Ademola Adeleke, has described his first encounter with Burna Boy in Port Harcourt.
There’s been controversy online after Davido grouped some artists including Burna Boy as ‘new cats’ in a recent chat where he also tapped himself and Wizkid as the musical acts that popularised the Afrobeats music genre.
His expression tore social media users into two parts with some acceding to his claims while others argued while vehemently disagreeing with the same.
Amid the ‘brouhaha’ B-Red in a bid to corroborate his cousin, Davido’s claim, revealed in an interview with Echoo Room that Burna chased his and Davido’s car the first time they met in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
According to him: “Burna Boy, in fact, the very first day I met Burna Boy, he was in Port Harcourt. He was running after me and Davido’s car, saying ‘Oh my God, I love you! I love you Davido’.”
