Kim Woodburn has launched another blistering attack on Holly Willoughby, calling for the presenter to be sacked from This Morning.
The former celebrity cleaner, 81, discussed the scandal engulfing the show on GB News yesterday, hours after Holly, 42, made her return to ITV after two weeks off air.
When Kim was asked whether she believed what Holly said in an emotional monologue about her former co-star at the start of This Morning’s show, she replied: ‘Absolutely not, she’s one little b**ch.
‘Why did she have to mention that he told lies? It’s been done and said, he’s lost his job. Why is she rubbing it in? She should be fired.’
When asked why she had such a problem with Holly, Kim responded: ‘Look, I’ve worked with Holly, I’ve been on the sofa with them three or four times.
‘I never liked the way she behaved and I never liked the way she opted out of everything – I couldn’t stand it.
‘Kim – who has launched several attacks on Phillip and Holly in recent weeks – previously gave her opinion on whether This Morning should be axed.
She said: ‘I have very mixed emotions about that. A nice morning show with families and mums sitting there is a nice thing…
‘This show is so tainted and gross. I don’t want to see it go off but I think it should.’I think it should come back in a different format with different people. It’s been so ruined by Schofield but let’s not give up and let’s start again.
‘It should be taken off, and reviewed, and a decent show put back on.’
Kim continued her scathing assessment of Holly when told that she wants to relaunch the show next Monday on her own, responding: ‘I bet she does that little b***h, I bet she does.’
She added: ‘In all the years she’s been on that show she has never taken part, all we hear is “oh Phillip” hahaha.’
She aided and abetted him to take a big salary, get shot of that little b***h. Wimpy, wimpy little woman, she will not be missed.’
Holly is reportedly determined to fight on to keep her spot on the sofa , despite the chaos at the programme.
Holly told This Morning’s viewers yesterday ‘we gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth’ as she returned to the show for the first time since Phillip’s exit.
In her full statement, Holly said: ‘Hi there. Good morning. Josie [Gibson], thank you for being here. Right, deep breath. Firstly, are you OK? It feels very strange indeed sitting here without Phil.’
And I imagine that you might have been feeling a lot like I have – shaken, troubled, let down, worried for the wellbeing of people on all sides of what’s been going on, and full of questions.
‘You, me and all of us at This Morning gave our love and support to someone who was not telling the truth, who acted in a way that they themselves felt that they had to resign from ITV, and step down from a career that they loved. That is a lot to process.
‘And it’s equally hard to see the toll that it’s taken on their own mental health. I think what unites us all now is a desire to heal for the health and wellbeing of everyone.
‘I hope that, as we start this new chapter and get back to a place of warmth and magic that this show holds for all of us, we can find strength in each other.’
Prior to the show airing, friends of Phillip said he would not tune in to watch Holly’s return to the sofa as it would be too ‘triggering’ for him.
