Biden congratulates King Charles, Camilla after turning down King Charles’s invite

Joe Biden has issued a statement today on Coronation after turning down King Charles’s invite.

The US President celebrated King Charles and Queen Camilla as they are crowned at the Coronation ceremony in Westminster Abbey.

In his tweet, Mr Biden also hailed his wife, First Lady Jill Biden, for how she has represented their country.

‘Congratulations to King Charles III and Queen Camilla on their Coronation. The enduring friendship between the U.S. and the U.K. is a source of strength for both our peoples,’ said on Twitter.

‘I am proud the First Lady is representing the United States for this historic occasion.’

Jill Biden attended the coronation at Westminster Abbey alongside granddaughter Finnegan Biden, whose father is Hunter Biden.
