Beyonce has revealed that her first job was sweeping hair at her mom’s salon while growing up as she teased a big announcement to honor Tina Knowles Lawson. DailyMail reports.

The 41-year-old megastar – who recently thanked a superfan who has been to over 35 of her shows – took to Instagram on Tuesday to share snaps of herself and daughter Blue Ivy, 11, getting their hair done.

She posted the images along with a hand-written note which read: ‘How many of y’all knew my first job was sweeping hair in my mama’s salon?

‘Destiny’s Child got our start by performing for clients while they were getting their hair done. I was exposed to so many different kinds of entrepreneurial women in her salon.

‘I saw firsthand how the ways we nurture and celebrate hair can directly impact our souls.’ I watched her heal and be of service to so many women.’

Then she had the Beyhive buzzing as she teased a new project with the aim of honoring her 69-year-old mother Tina.

Beyonce concluded: ‘Having learned so much on my hair journey, I’ve always dreamed of carrying on her legacy.

‘I can’t wait for you to experience what I’ve been creating.’

In one of the images Beyonce could be seen with an electric hair product in her hand as she held her signature highlighted blonde locks while looking in the vanity mirror.

She showcased plenty of cleavage in a low cut white romper featuring puffy three-quarter length sleeves.

Blue Ivy looked to be getting her braided hair put into curlers as she sat with a smirk on her face.

Beyonce and company have previously shed light on their performing at the salon past as she and girl group Destiny’s Child famously worked at a salon in their iconic music video for 1999 smash-hit Bills, Bills, Bills.

The A-list star is currently on her Renaissance World Tour which will fill stadiums around the globe.
