Sarah Ferguson Shares Candid Thoughts On Prince Harry And Meghan Ahead Of Coronation

Sarah Ferguson has opened up about her thoughts on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, admitting that she has gone through her own “journeys” over the years as a member of the royal family, but focuses on charity work instead of sharing her complaints adding: “It’s not about me”.

Speaking on Good Morning Britain, the Duchess of York was asked about her views on Harry and Meghan and explained: “I suppose the reason I am the way I am if you feel bad about yourself, is to give to others. I immediately look at the now, what was happening in Ukraine.

“So, I’ve always managed never to go into a situation where I’ve said, ‘This is what happened to me.’ It’s not about me.

She continued: “Some of my journeys might have been slightly better thought out [than others] but I think it’s important to get on. This second, a 16-year-old boy has been given the gift of hearing because we – just before the show – agreed to fund him a cochlear implant, so that takes me away from myself because I can hear.”

Sarah also spoke about what she thinks Diana would think about her sons, Princes William and Harry, saying: “Duch, as I called her, was all about as we all know, losing the stigma of AIDs, all about being true to her heart.

“Her heart would say my boys have done really well, they look so happy in their own family units, and they have beautiful children.

“We showed her much more kindness in life, we all need to stop being so cruel and trolling on social media and we need to lead by example and smile and be kind.”
