Sarah Ferguson 'Happy' To Watch King Charles' Coronation From Home

Sarah Ferguson has not been invited to King Charles’ coronation next month, but that doesn’t mean that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s mother won’t be celebrating the big day.

Whilst very little information about the guest list for the historic event has been revealed, only recently that Meghan Markle and her two children with Prince Harry will not attend, it has been confirmed that Sarah has not been invited to watch the service at Westminster Abbey, something she herself hinted at last month.

Whilst promoting her new novel Loose Women, Prince Andrew’s former wife revealed her plans for the big day.

“I personally will be having a little tea room and coronation chicken sandwich and putting out the bunting, that’s what I’m going to be doing. Because that would make me very happy.

“I also love to watch it on the TV because you hear a lot on the TV. The commentators are always good and then everyone, all the family comes back, because remember I have divorced from him [Prince Andrew] so I don’t expect… you can’t have it both ways, you can’t be divorced and then say, ‘I want this…’ [You’re in] or you’re out.”

She continued: “I think it’s really great to be a supportive big time and then when all the family comes home, I know all the ins and outs from commentators on television!

“And there’s a little old people’s home nearby and I’ve got a little van… it’s a three-wheeler. Maybe I should take the corgis down there, with the bunting and sandwiches.”

While Sarah will watch the ceremony from afar, a source close to Sarah confirmed that later in the day, she will be reunited with various members of the family for a private celebration.

“She is not invited but she will see various members of the family later on the big day,” the source revealed.
