Raquel Welch, an American actress, model and a major sex symbol of 20th century, died on February 15 this year at the age of 82.
New revelation says she reportedly died of cardiac arrest, with Alzheimer’s disease a ‘possible underlying factor,’ according to published reports.
The publication obtained a death certificate filed Tuesday with the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, which disclosed the cause of death.
Welch breathed her last at her home in Los Angeles. Her representative had then stated that she passed away peacefully after a brief illness.
She made her acting debut in 1964 in the film A Swingin’ Summer, which was followed by a few small roles in other films.
Raquel rose to prominence as a sex symbol with her roles in ‘One Million Years B.C. (in which she played a prehistoric cavewoman),’ ‘Fantastic Voyage‘ ‘Myra Breckinridge‘ and ‘Kansas City Bomber.’
