Prince Harry has made America his home since he relocated to the States with his family in 2020 after stepping down as a senior member of the royal family.
However, while he is now “settled” in California with his wife, Meghan Markle, and their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, Harry hasn’t forgotten about his life in the UK.
According to Meghan’s friend and makeup artist Daniel Martin, Harry “does miss home” despite his tranquil new life at their $14 million home in Montecito.
“Harry has definitely found his vibe and is very settled in California. But he does miss home,” Daniel told People.
Harry will have a taste of his old life next month when he returns to the UK to attend the King’s coronation. Buckingham Palace finally confirmed the news last week, revealing that Harry will be at his father’s big day without Meghan and their children.
The Palace said in a statement: “Buckingham Palace is pleased to confirm that the Duke of Sussex will attend the Coronation Service at Westminster Abbey on 6th May. The Duchess of Sussex will remain in California with Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.”
Archewell, Harry and Meghan’s charitable foundation, issued a nearly identical statement to the Palace confirming the duke will join guests at the coronation.
The coronation, which will take place at Westminster Abbey on 6 May, also falls on Archie’s fourth birthday.
