Ukraine-bashing Republican Marjorie Taylor Greene has claimed Jack Teixeira is being prosecuted for being ‘white, Christian and anti-war.’
The Republican Congresswoman, who represents Georgia’s 14th district, went on an unhinged social media tirade attacking the FBI for bringing the case.
Greene took to Twitter to praise the 21-year-old for having ‘told the truth’ about Vladimir Putin‘s full-scale invasion of Ukraine
The leaked files detailed possible weapons deliveries to Ukraine, as well as outlining the number of foreign intelligence agents inside the country.
‘Jake Teixeira is white, male, Christian, and antiwar,’ she wrote, spelling his first name incorrectly. ‘That makes him an enemy to the Biden regime.’
‘He told the truth about troops being on the ground in Ukraine and a lot more,’ the 48-year-old added.
‘Ask yourself who is the real enemy?’
Greene alleged that the Biden administration and the Pentagon ‘have been caught lying about the war they are funding and fighting against Russia.’
She said the White House was plotting to tighten regulation of social media after the leak in what she called ‘full government censorship.’
Her series of social missives came as the National Guard member appeared in court in Boston, Massachusetts to face two charges of leaking classified information.
Also, Tucker Carlson, the Fox News commentator on Thursday evening in the opening monologue of his show defends Teixera: ‘He revealed the crimes, therefore he’s the criminal. That’s how Washington works. Telling the truth is the only real sin.
‘The news media are celebrating the capture of the kid who told Americans what’s actually happening in Ukraine. They are treating him like Osama bin Laden,’ the late al-Qaida terrorist leader.
