This is the moment a man serenaded a “polite and charming” Pippa Middleton in a Kensington restaurant.
The Princess of Wales’s sister, 39, was out for dinner at Cambio De Tercio in Kensington, London, with her husband James Matthews and two of their friends.
One diner plucked up the courage to sing Frank Sinatra’s My Way to Pippa on the way to the bathroom.
“I went to the bathroom and saw her, so I said ‘sorry I couldn’t make it to the wedding, I’ll sing you a song instead’ and she seemed to take it well.”
“‘It was a lovely atmosphere, she said thank you, and she was very polite and very charming.
“I love to sing and it was a pleasure to do it for her. She looked fabulous, she seemed to be having fun.”
It comes after Pippa’s third child with her husband, financier James Matthews, 47, was christened this week at their local village church in Berkshire, The Daily Mail’s Richard Eden reported.
They told him: “Prince William and Catherine attended the service.”
Seven-month-old Rose is the sixth grandchild of Carole and Mike Middleton, who are also grandparents to Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
Pippa, James, Rose and their two other children, Arthur, four, and Grace, one, spent time earlier this month enjoying a sunny holiday in St Barts, where the Matthews family owns the Eden Rock resort, one of the most exclusive hotels in the region.
