This is the heartwarming moment the Princess of Wales gushed over two sisters’ matching outfits at the St Patrick’s Day Parade this afternoon.
The Prince, 40, and Princess of Wales, 41, were guests of honour at the annual St Patrick’s Day Parade at Mons Barracks in Aldershot, where William officially stepped down from the honorary regimental position in favour of Kate.
After delivering a speech to the Irish Guards, the mother-of-three took time to meet with families and young royal fans attending the event.
A video captured by the Daily Mail’s Royal Editor Rebecca English shows the royal approaching Warrant Officer Alistair Wigley and his partner.
To begin with, the Princess reaches out to shake their hands before then turning her attention to their daughters Aoife, six, and Alice, four.
The Princess of Wales told sisters Aoife, six, and Alice, four, they looked ‘gorgeous’ and admired their brooches.
The two girls were dressed in matching navy-blue coats and also wore brooches to commemorate the annual event.
