American singer, Tamar Braxton, 45, is NOW officially off the market as JR Robinson popped the big question to her.
During the finale of her Peacock dating show, Queens Court, the Braxton Family Values alum got engaged to finalist Jeremy ‘JR’ Robinson who was a finalist on Braxton’s new reality dating series, ‘Queens Court.’
During the final episode of the Peacock show, Robinson popped the question to Braxton. ‘I don’t wanna be your friend. I wanna be your husband,’ the attorney told the Grammy nominee, per E!.
Cue the drop to one knee.
‘I’m here forever because I don’t see my life without you. And I love you. ‘Tamar. Tamar, will you marry me?’
And Y-E-S. A tearful Tamar Braxton accepted his proposal with an eager nod, confessing that she is ‘crazy’ about Robinson. ‘I can’t believe I found what I was looking for,’ she added.
‘I prayed for somebody to understand me and not look at me and my flaws and just accept me for who I am,’ Tamar told JR.
‘And then I met you. And then I saw every single thing that I ever prayed for as a child.’
Though filming ended six months ago, the show said that Robinson and Braxton are still together and are ‘busy planning their wedding!’
The show featured Braxton, Evelyn Lozada and Nivea, as they dated a group of 21 men who fought to become their potential ‘kings.’
Robinson, who has five kids with four different women, entered Queens Court in the first episode and he and Braxton bonded over losing loved ones.
Braxton’s older sister Traci died in 2022 after battling cancer, and Robinson’s mother died from cancer.
Robinson said he saw a hummingbird at his mother’s funeral, and according to Braxton, her sister said she would become a hummingbird when she died.
While in the mood of her engagement celebration, Braxton celebrated her birthday Friday, March 17.
‘It’s my birthday but I have to post the one who puts this cheesy smile on my face,’ she wrote in part alongside a March 17 Instagram video of her fiancée.
‘It took me a while to realize that this wholesome, traditional love is the kind that I wanted and needed. We have 6 children between the two of us and they mean EVERYTHING to me.’
