Kate Middleton has always been a princess in our eyes, but for her first Commonwealth Day as the Princess of Wales, the royal decided to pull out an elegant monochromatic ensemble that was fit for a royal.
The Princess of Wales went all blue with her look, sporting a jacquard peplum jacket embroidered with a white pattern, along with a matching flared midi skirt, both from Erdem (you can find the jacket and the skirt online, but sadly, both are sold out).
Princess Catherine must’ve been feeling the navy, because the royal continued the color with every other piece in her look, including her Gianvito Rossi suede pumps, her Emmy London clutch, and her blue gloves. She also donned a large sunhat with a bow on top, which almost had a purple tinge to it.
As noted by People, the princess accessorized with a special gift from her father-in-law, King Charles. If you look closely, you can see that the royal fastened a small silver Prince of Wales feathers brooch to her jacket, which was given to her by the king.
Meanwhile, you might recognize those sapphire earrings, which used to belong to Princess Diana.
Princess Catherine attended the Commonwealth Day church service with her husband, Prince William, who matched her by wearing a navy suit.
