Hollywood actress and former girlfriend of Kanye West, Julia Fox has reacted to the news of her father and her brother being arrested on drug and weapons charges.
Both Thomas Fox, 62, and Christopher Fox, 30, were arrested in the early morning raid on Wednesday. But so far, only Christopher – who has two sealed prior arrests – has been charged.
The model was out of town during the raid and is not believed to have known about her family’s alleged crimes.
However, the actress is reportedly ‘not shocked’ that her ‘unstable, abusive and unhinged’ father and brother long were arrested when cops found drugs, ghost guns and bomb-making material in their Manhattan apartment.
‘Julia and Christopher were raised by their unstable, abusive and unhinged father. She knew about her dad and brother’s 3D printing and suspected drug usage, but has no direct knowledge about this because she has zero contact with either of them,’ the source said.
‘Her dad is insane and has caused her emotional trauma that she will have to deal with for the rest of her life. She knew that one day his life would catch up with him. She is glad that no one was hurt by his disgusting actions.
Julia and her brother, who were once close, have been estranged for years after he ‘turned out just like his father’.
‘When Julia was young, her dad didn’t give a f**k about her and her brother. She was forced into his care, and they were living on the streets and in parks due to his actions,’ the source said.
‘Her brother became just like him and she cut him off as well. When she became successful, her dad and brother tried to make things good with her to ride her coattails, but she didn’t let this happen.’
Julia has not spoken to either of her family members since their arrests, the source confirmed.
Police entered the Upper East Side home of Christopher and Thomas Fox around 6 am and discovered a bevy of illegal substances and objects, including pills, fentanyl, pressure cookers, chloroform, heroin, propane, explosives materials and formaldehyde in the apartment.
They also seized 3D printers, which are used to make ghost guns.
