The head of UFO Dana White got physical with his wife Anne, to the point that slaps were exchanged. The incident happened on New Year’s Eve in a crowded Cabo San Lucas Nightclub.
Having been married for 26 years, Dana and his wife Anne were celebrating the coming new year with a couple of friends when things a different turn and the couple engaged in a fight with each other in the full view of onlookers.
Physical fight
The couple were in the VIP section of the club with their friends, when Dana reportedly leaned towards his wife to say something. What he said was not known, however it caused his wife Anne to react by slapping him across the face. Dana reacted by slapping her back in the face almost immediately before they were pulled apart by friends.
The entire scenarios displayed in the full view of patrons below on the dance floor. According to eyewitnesses, the couple seemed to be highly drunk and intoxicated with alcohol because the situation happened in a flash. Additionally, the issue was over as suddenly as it had happened.
The aftermath
Although the main reason for the altercation between Dana and hos wife Anne was not known, Dana has admitted that he and his wife had been drinking heavily that night, but he also added that it was certainly no excuse and no reason for him to act the way he did.
As someone who has always said you should never lay your hands on a woman, it felt awkward talking about something he frowns against. Furthermore, he said he is embarrassed by the horrible event and that he and his wife has apologized to each other. His wife on the other hand has admitted that the situation was out of character for Dana.
