Putin Addresses Thousands Of Flag-Waving Russians At Rally

Vladimir Putin addressed thousands of Russians today at a rally to celebrate the anniversary of his invasion of Ukraine.

Tens of thousands of Russians enthusiastically waved national flags at Moscow’s World Cup stadium today and chanted “Russia” in a patriotic show of support for Russia’s war in Ukraine as Putin spoke, or so he hoped it would sound.

In reality, the Russian attendees complained that they were forced to attend the pro-war rally at Luzhniki Stadium to celebrate the anniversary of Putin’s invasion of Ukraine.

State government employees said they were forced to attend the rally and university students were told they would not have to attend the day’s lessons if they attended the propaganda-filled show.

Putin attended the rally and delivered a speech to the crowd of ‘supporters’, a year after taking the same stage dressed in a £10,000 Loro Piana jacket to sell debunked claims about why the war in Ukraine started.

Vladimir Putin today addressed thousands of Russians at a rally to celebrate the anniversary of his invasion of Ukraine.

The Russian leader urged attendees to support the country’s armed forces fighting in Ukraine after Putin’s barbaric invasion nearly a year ago.

He insisted that the entire country stood behind the Russian soldiers waging the war, seemingly forgetting the anti-war protests that police officers have suppressed.

The Russian leader said today: “We are proud of those who are fighting in Ukraine to defend the Motherland,” drawing cheers from the crowd.
