According to sources, a young woman named Promise Ekong from the Cross River state’s Boki Local Government Area passed away in a hotel in Abuja.
According to reports, Promise, who completed her one-year NYSC requirement in November 2022, passed away at the Stanzel Grand Resort on Fifth Avenue in Gwarimpa.
The cause of her death is still shrouded in controversy as the management of the hotel claims that Promise drowned in their swimming pool while the family of the lady alleges foul play by the police.
In other news, a fast-rising Nigerian skit maker, identified as Favour Daniels, has died at the young age of 26.
The content creator, who is also known as Amama, was involved in a boat accident that claimed her life on Sunday, February 5.
The sister of the deceased, Elizabeth, took to social media to announce news of her tragic passing along with her obituary.
Elizabeth shared photos of her beautiful sister with the caption: “It is with a heavy heart but in total submission to the will of our Created. I wish to announce the passing of my youngest sister. Favour Agiounim Daniels, known and loved by so many.
