Actor Tom Sizemore rushed to hospital after suffering brain aneurysm

American actor and filmmaker, Tom Sizemore, 61, has been rushed to hospital after suffering brain aneurysm.

Tom’s manager, Charles Lago told TMZ that he was hanging out at his LA home around 2am on Saturday, February 18, when he suffered a brain aneurysm and collapsed into unconsciousness.

Someone found Tom and quickly called 911. EMS units responded and took him to a local hospital, where he was listed in critical condition in the intensive care unit.

Lago added that Tom is in a ‘bad way’ and his chances for a full recovery seem uncertain.

‘Tom is hospitalized in intensive care due to a brain aneurism (sic),’ Lago said in a statement. He is currently in critical condition and it’s a wait and see situation.’

Sizemore’s manager added: ‘His family is aware and waiting for updates.’

Sizemore has a history of addiction and run-ins with the law, including a 2003 conviction of assault and battery on his ex-girlfriend Heidi Fleiss, arrest on suspicion of felony domestic violence in 2016, a lawsuit filed by a stuntman who says Sizemore ran over him while driving a vehicle on the set of ‘Shooter’ in 2016, and a 2020 civil lawsuit filed by a woman who claimed he groped her on a movie set when she was 11.

He denied the claim, and the suit was later dismissed.

The actor is best known for his role as Mike Horvath in the 1998 Steven Spielberg film ‘Saving Private Ryan,’ starring Tom Hanks.

He also appeared in 2001’s ‘Black Hawk Down’ and ‘Pearl Harbor,’ as well as the ‘Twin Peaks’ revival series in 2017.
