King Charles III and Camilla started 2023 by greeting royal fans as they attended the New Year’s Day service at St Mary Magdalene Church – one of the late Queen Elizabeth’s most loved annual traditions.
The royal couple were photographed making their way to the historic Church, which is located a short distance from the family’s Sandringham residence, on Sunday morning.
The 74-year-old monarch looked dapper in a grey tweed overcoat paired with a blue suit, red striped tie and brown leather shoes.
The Queen Consort looked equally stylish and rugged up for the cool weather with a black coat, boots and a grey hat with feathers.
The pair briefly met with the Bishop of Norwich, Graham Usher, and the Reverend Canon, Dr. Paul Williams outside the medieval parish church.
Charles and Camilla also greeted royal fans who had gathered outside hoping to catch a glimpse of the royal couple.
Meanwhile, Zara Tindall was photographed on New Year’s Day at Cheltenham Racecourse with her eight-year-old daughter Mia.
The Olympic equestrian stunned in a royal blue coat with a chic belt and over-the-knee boots. Mia donned a pale grey coat in a similar style to her mother, a turquoise dress, black tights, brown boots and a navy-blue headband.
The royal sightings come just over a week before Prince Harry’s highly anticipated tell-all memoir Spare is released.
Members of the royal family have reportedly been warned to “brace for the worst” after details of the bombshell book were leaked.
One advanced reader told The Sunday Times the Prince and Princess of Wales should be the most concerned.
“Generally, I think the book [will be] worse for them than the royal family is expecting,” the source said.
“Everything is laid bare. Charles comes out of it better than I had expected but it’s tough on William in particular and even Kate gets a bit of a broadside.
“There are these minute details and a description of the fight between the brothers. I personally can’t see how Harry and William will be able to reconcile after this.”
