About ‘Jeanne du Barry’

‘Jeanne du Barry’ is the name of one of the mistresses of the French king and the film tells the story of how this woman struggles to climb the social ladder.

In the end she gets the monarch to take her to court and give her a house of her own. But the relationship between the two comes to light and becomes a scandal.

The movie is directed by director Maiwenn Le Besco and it will arrive in 2023.

Right now it is not known what the exact release date is, nor if it will be released in theaters or only on streaming platforms.
