Britney Spears Fams Call Police For Welfare Check On The Singer

Singer Britney Spears’ fans called the police to voice their concerns after the singer deleted her Instagram.

The pop princess – whose 13-year conservatorship was lifted in 2021 following a long battle and a #FreeBritney fan movement – regularly posts on the social media platform and it seems fans were worried when her account vanished.

However, police have assured the star’s followers that they “don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger”.

According to TMZ, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office started to get calls about the star on Tuesday night (24 January), after her account was deleted.

Some fans apparently asked whether officers could perform a wellness check to see if the 41-year-old was alright.

A police spokesperson later confirmed: “I can confirm that we did get calls into our dispatch, and essentially, I can confirm that we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or any kind of danger.”

For privacy reasons it was not confirmed whether police went to Spears’ home.

“I can’t confirm or deny that deputies went to her house, but we don’t believe that Britney Spears is in any kind of harm or danger at this point,” the spokesperson added.
