Reality TV stars from the Big Brother Naija show has slammed on-air personality, Chinedu Emmanuel, popularly known as Nedu, over his comments about female contestants on the show.
Nedu, during an interview with Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up’ housemate, Doyin, on his podcast, The Honest Bunch, published on Monday, claimed that many ladies get on popular reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, to get ‘customers’ and sell their bodies.
He said, ‘You know what Big Brother does for you, it takes you from here and shoots you up but there is no substance to hold you on to.
‘Na ‘Kpekus’ (slang word for female sex organ)) most of them get to offer, they intentionally go there just to get ‘customers.’
Following his comment, BBNaija stars had slammed the OAP, as they faulted the trend of tagging female Big Brother housemates as people who use their bodies to make money.
BBNaija season 7 ex-housemate, Kesiena Adjekpovu, popularly known as Kess, took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to address the issue.
He said that it is unjust to undermine the efforts of the female Big Brother housemates saying, ‘This trend of tagging female Big Brother housemates as sluts is distasteful.
‘95% of them are highly intelligent, sufficiently independent, super talented and are legit hustlers. It is unfair to undermine their hard work.’
Former Big Brother Naija season 6 housemate, Angel Smith, also disagrees with Nedu, stating many women had come out of the house to become actresses, start businesses, and build a solid brand.
Angel wrote on Twitter, ‘This is all so old and boring. I don’t know why men can’t just mind their business.
‘So many women have come out of big brother to become actresses, start businesses and actually have a solid brand but because y’all are so misogynistic and uninformed, you say rubbish.
‘Every time it’s a man in the industry slut shaming women. You’re over 40. If you want a sugar daddy, then maybe get one. Nobody is stopping you.
‘Look how happy he’s saying it. You people will shame women for having consensual sex and be surprised when men sexually assault women.
‘Men are very jealous of women because I don’t understand why you’re upset about a grown woman’s vagina.
‘That’s why blogs thrive on bringing down the women in big brother, some of the most hardworking people I’ve met, especially the ones you guys slut shame a lot. Shut up losers.
‘Like this topic pisses me off so much, then you people will come online and say, ‘Nawa o, so she f**ks for money and she’s oppressing us, don’t believe everything on social media’.
‘Nobody is oppressing you, my dear. You’re just a jealous rat,’ she concluded.
Koko Khloe, has also slammed OAP Nedu, over his recent comment about her and other female BBNaija housemates.
Reacting to the post made by her colleague, Angel, Koko slammed Nedu for his comment. She wrote;
‘Angel leave that short thing !!! It’s not our fault his wife gave him a B*stard, now I don’t blame the woman cos who wants to have a child for a d*mb childish usel*ss lying ass talkative man … now , every woman living good is hawking pussy .
‘They don’t even see the pain and the struggle and some online peeps too will support rubbish’ forgetting that they are women and want to succeed in life . Very senseless mentality.
‘What any woman choose to do to make ends meet is no one business in as much as shes not steal from you or kill anyone . TF. That’s how he came to lie about hotel room , but dumb people can’t even put 1 and 1 together to know that shit was framed up just to talk .
