Ukrainian President, Volodymyr Zelenskyy appeared on a Netflix chat show where he made fun of the Russian leader in an interview with David Letterman.

It all started when the number one citizen of Ukraine said some jokes that are directed to Putin in ‘sly’ manner:

‘Two Jews meet in Odessa. One asks the other: How is the situation there? what are they saying?’

Well, what do they say, they say there is a war,” says the other.

‘What war?”

‘Russia is at war with NATO.

‘So how is the war going?

‘Well, the Russians lost 70,000 soldiers, all the missiles were used up, and a lot of military equipment was destroyed.

‘And what about NATO?

‘Well, what about NATO? NATO hasn’t arrived yet.’

The Ukraine leader obviously said his jokes due to Putin calling the conflict between the two countries ‘special military operation’ instead of ‘war. ALSO, for their efforts so far, with little or no help from NATO yet.

In an underground bunker 300ft beneath a Kyiv subway platform, David Letterman, 75, met with Zelensky to discuss the ongoing conflict in his country.

The Ukrainians are most impressed with the jokes of their president, including the Ukrainian audience that was invited to the interview.

Zelensky’s chat with Letterman was filmed in an underground bunker in fears for the ‘worst’.

David Letterman narrated his ordeal before arriving in Ukraine – he was hunted by ‘what-ifs thoughts’ on his way to discuss with Zelensky the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.

‘When we were planning this trip, I wasn’t sure what to expect,’ the veteran comedian said in his pre-interview voiceover.

‘It had been months since Russian troops were driven out of the city. But just a week ago, Russia launched missiles and drones into Ukraine, including several that hit Kyiv,’ the 75-year-old man said.

Letterman, who is gripped in fear asks in the middle of the interview when a siren sounds throughout the bunker: ‘What should we do?’

Meanwhile, Zelensky humorously responded: ‘nothing’.
