Latest trailer for Sussexes’ six-hour Netflix series sparked negative comments as Viewers took to YouTube to leave their critical reviews on the latest trailer.
The one-minute trailer, released on Monday, features the couple discussing their experiences with the royal family since getting together.
The latest and and the previous trailer released by the streaming giant, has come under fire among some pundits for several reasons, including its use of footage of press photographers from events unrelated to the Sussexes.
The trailer has nevertheless spawned a trend, where viewers start their reviews with the phrase ‘I love the part’, before leaving a sarcastic comment.
One wrote: ‘I love the part when after spending 39 years in the royal family, Harry realises there is a hierarchy.’
Another added: ‘I love the part when they are so determined to tell the truth that they are able to time travel to a Harry Potter Premier in 2011 and a 1938 visit by Queen Mary. So courageous of them to stand up to those that call them liars.
Meanwhile, a third wrote: ‘I love the part where they say that they want privacy so have to resign from being working royals .. and then get themselves a fly on the wall Netflix “reality “ TV show . So inspiring , so honest , so touching.’
However, the couple fared slightly better on Twitter, where some users defended them against critical comments.
The latest trailer gave the clearest signal yet that the California-based pair will reopen old wounds as they seek to justify why they quit as working royals and left Britain.
It contained footage of Princess Diana, Meghan and the new Princess of Wales all surrounded by photographers, as Harry spoke of ‘the pain and suffering of women marrying into this institution’.
