The final part of Harry and Meghan’s controversial Netflix series will be “catastrophic” for the prince’s relationship with his brother William, a royal expert has claimed.
The last three episodes of the documentary air today, with claims the Palace, briefed against the Sussexes to deflect attention from less favourable coverage of other royals.
The royal family and Palace aides will be steeling themselves for bombshells in Volume II of the Harry & Meghan series after the royal household faced accusations it leaked negative stories as part of a “war against Meghan”.
In one trailer, Harry said: “They were happy to lie to protect my brother. They were never willing to tell the truth to protect us”, while Meghan said she was “fed to the wolves”.
Public relations consultant Richard Fitzwilliams has now warned that the mention of William in the docuseries will be “catastrophic” for his bond with Harry.
Questioning some of the Sussexes’ claims, he told the Mail: “William was named in an earlier trailer by Harry. This will be catastrophic for the relationship between the once close brothers.
“What exactly is the evidence that backs up their claim that Meghan was ‘fed to the wolves’?
“Essentially the claim is that the institution was working against them and using the media to discredit them with a barrage of negative articles. Her lawyer Jenny Afia says she has seen the evidence. However what evidence will we be shown?”
