‘Good Morning America’ anchor, T.J. Holmes, files for divorce from wife following romance with Amy Robach.
This comes after twelve years of marriage with his wife, Marilee Fiebig who is an immigration lawyer – she is also Chief Diversity Officer for Save the Children.
Holmes and Marilee have been married since March 2010 and share one daughter together. The television anchor also has two children from a previous relationship.
Holmes’ cheating scandal with his Good Morning America colleague Amy Robach has gone on for a while, and the divorce news heighten the rumour many believed it is true.
The Daily Mail has confirmed the news after being the first to report on their affair on November 30 by publishing photos of Holmes and Robach cozying up in various locations, including a New York City bar and a cottage upstate, revealing that the two have struck up their romance in June.
After their affair was exposed, both parties reportedly deleted their social media accounts and left their respective spouses.
On Monday, Holmes and Robach were seen together traveling from New York City to Atlanta.
Holmes has been close friends with Robach since they began co-hosting the lunchtime program GMA3: What You Need To Know together in September 2020.
Also, the two usually teamed together for promotional posts on the show’s social media and recently trained for the New York City marathon together.
As it is, TMZ – the television network where they work is still conducting an ‘internal investigation’ of their relationship.
TMZ has speculated that Holmes and Robach will not be back on the show until the new year, if permitted, given their pre-established holiday plans.
