Teddy Edwardes, an event planner has revealed the reason behind her action of engineering ‘all-female night club’.
Her decision came about six years ago when a man allegedly ruined her night.
Teddy, the founder and director of ‘LICK’ revealed in her TikTok video which has garnered over 3.6 million views.
‘I started LICK because I was sick of going to straight clubs and every time I had some kind of problem with men,’ she admitted.
‘The last straw that broke the camel’s back was: I walked into my friend’s album label launch in Shoreditch and within seconds a man grabbed my ponytail and yanked me back through the club to the bar because “he wanted to buy me a drink.” ‘
The 32-year-old woman admitted she fought it hard before ‘LICK’ is successful.

‘For the first three years, I barely made a penny.
‘No venue wanted to work with us, the one venue we had often canceled at the last minute, and I personally was banned from most venues in Soho because they collectively agreed I was ‘bringing the wrong crowd to the area’.
She now boasts of 2,000 sold-out tickets at every events. LICK is now a popular all-female nightclub in London.
Recently, Teddy is linked to Amber Gill after the pair was seen enjoying a flirty social media exchange and day out together.
