Tragic end to search for missing family with parents found dead Jake Day, 28, and Cindy Braddock, 25 died in car crash in WA outback.
The couple were last seen leaving Northam and travelling towards Kondinin a few hours east of Perth in Western Australia at around 1am on Sunday.
Meanwhile, three children (all under five-years-old) were found alongside the bodies of their dead parents sometime after midday on Tuesday, after police launched a public appeal to find them.
The family’s crashed Land Rover Discovery was located about 10km from Kondinin in WA’s Wheatbelt, Daily Mail reported.
Two of the surviving children had got out of the wrecked vehicle while the infant was inside the car when they were discovered by search teams.
All three children are being treated for non-life threatening injuries and are being flown back to Perth.
Before the tragedy came to light, friends and family of the couple and their children sharing posts with photos and information to raise awareness for the missing family.
‘Has anyone seen Jake Day or Cindy Braddock since Christmas Day,’ Cindy’s sister, Helen Braddock pleaded in a Facebook post.
‘[They] haven’t made it home and haven’t made contact with anybody since,’ she wrote.
