Harry And Meghan’s Friend Wades In On Palace Race Storm

Misan Harriman, 45, is the latest to express outrage after domestic abuse campaigner Ngozi Fulani said she was repeatedly asked where she was from by a senior royal aide.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s photographer today labeled the race row engulfing Buckingham Palace as ‘completely unacceptable’.

Misan Harriman, 45, a close friend to the Sussexes, is the latest to express their outrage after domestic abuse campaigner Ngozi Fulani claimed she was repeatedly asked where she was from by senior royal aide Lady Susan Hussey.

Lady Hussey, 83, once the Queen’s chief lady-in-waiting, resigned from her post today as a second individual, Nazir Afzal, 60, claimed she also quizzed him about his birthright.

The storm could not come at a worse time for the Royal Family brand, as William and Kate are in the middle of a tour in the US – a country still grappling with its own longstanding racial issues.

And adding fuel to the fire, Netflix decided to release its first official trailer for Harry and Meghan’s bombshell documentary this afternoon – ahead of its full release next week.

Misan Harriman, 45, a close friend to the Sussexes, is the latest to express their outrage after domestic abuse campaigner Ngozi Fulani claimed she was repeatedly asked where she was from by senior royal aide Lady Susan Hussey.
Reacting to the race row today, Mr. Harriman wrote in an Instagram post: ‘This is completely unacceptable. Ngozi Fulani is a GIANT in her field. She has dedicated her life to protecting women that are survivors of domestic violence.

‘They should have known who she was and celebrated the fact that she is one of the souls that makes this country great.’
