Father-of-two is shot dead execution-style by group of men over fight about a $500 repair bill

A Texas father-of-two was murdered execution-style after a dispute broke out over a $500 repair bill.

Luis Manuel Casillas, 29, was gunned down two days before Christmas near his shop after a yet-to-be-named customer refused to fork over the cash he owed.

Casillas reportedly told the customer who owed him money to just leave with his truck before he was gunned down by the group

The customer showed up at Mr Casillas’s shop in Houston escorted by a group of five men and refused to pay for the repairs the mechanic had made to his truck.

The situation escalated and Casillas eventually told the customer to just take his truck and leave.But, the confrontation became violent and Casillas took off running.

Casillas was reportedly going to use the money to finish buying Christmas presents for his young daughters – aged two and three

Mr Casillas’s sister Sandy said her brother had ran through all the side businesses he could run through before he was forced on his knees and shot in the head.

She said: ‘They shot him in the head. (Point) blank. They put him on his knees, and they shot him in the head.

Casillas, 29 (right) was a husband and father to two young girls – aged 2 and 3. He was shot outside of his Texas auto-body shop in the days before Christmas

‘They didn’t just take $500. They took a life, they took our life, they took a father,’ she said.

Mr Casillas was rescued by emergency services but died at the hospital. He left a young wife and two daughters aged two and three.

Investigators are currently looking into the incident and hoping to track down footage of the shooting.

No suspects have yet been identified, but the family has told law enforcement officer who they believe is responsible and have shared his information with the police.

Sandy said she believed the sic suspects are younger men, though Houston police have not released an official description of the suspect or of their vehicles.
