Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo’s partner, Georgina Rodriguez. has gifted him a £300,000 Rolls Royce as a Christmas present on Sunday.
In a video posted by Georgina on her social media account, it can be seen how she surprised Ronaldo with a Rolls Royce Dawn convertible as the player looked awestruck
The former Manchester United forward, 37, is currently enjoying some downtime with his family after his World Cup campaign with Portugal ended in a quarter-final exit.
Despite Portugal’s disappointment at the just concluded World Cup in Qatar, Georgina treated Ronaldo to a lavish Christmas gift.
The 37-year-old, who is currently without a club, has been spending time with his family this holiday season after returning from a disappointing World Cup run in Qatar.
Ronaldo shared an Instagram story that showed him and Georgina, along with their daughter, seated in a luxurious £300,000-worth Rolls Royce with the words: “Thank you, my love.”
Georgina posted a full-length video on her page that showed the moment she gave him the surprise, and how he reacted to the luxury gift.
Who is Georgina Rodriguez?
Georgina is the partner of Ronaldo. She is a model and dancer, also something of an internet ‘influencer’, with a formidable social media following, numbering over 30 million followers on Instagram.
She is originally from the northeastern Spanish city of Jaca. It has a population of just over 13,000 and is near the French border, around 450km from Madrid.
The model is said to have worked as a waitress in her hometown before moving in with a family in Bristol, England, as an au pair.
It was gathered that Georgina met Ronaldo at a Gucci store in Madrid, where she was working as a shop assistant.
“His height, his body, and his beauty caught my attention. I was trembling in front of him, but a spark ignited. I am very shy and perhaps this stirred me more in front of a person who, with one glance, had touched me deeply. Then after, the way Cristiano treats me cares for me, and loves me did the rest,” she said.
The relationship progressed steadily from there, and they started to be snapped by paparazzi together in public in late 2016. Most memorably, Ronaldo was caught in a wig and sunglasses in an attempt to disguise himself during a trip to Disneyland Paris.
