Karine Jean-Pierre, White House press secretary, said Monday that Twitter has been monitored since Elon Musk’s takeover.
During the daily briefing, she said that “This is something that we’re definitely keeping an eye upon.” “We all monitor what is currently happening.”
Jean-Pierre was asked by Jean-Pierre if the White House was concerned about Twitter being used as a means of spreading misinformation.

Karine Jean-Pierre, White House Press Secretary, stated Monday that Twitter has been monitored by the White House since Elon Musk took control of the platform.
Musk claimed Saturday that both active and new Twitter signups are at an all-time high.
The billionaire allowed a number of right-wing figures to return to the platform that was previously banned. This included reinstating the account of former President Donald Trump. He has not yet tweeted from this old handle as he is still loyal to Truth Social.
Musk also reinstated Kanye West, the rapper who’s made a number of recent anti-Semitic statements – and had dinner with Trump and known white supremacist Nick Fuentes at Mar-a-Lago last week – as well as Milo Yiannopoulos, a right-wing figure running West’s teased 2024 presidential campaign.
