One of the trademarks usually associated with being a Hollywood celebrity is tattoos. It is safe to say that the number of actors and actresses that have at least one tattoo is more than the number of those who do not have any.
Some actors and actresses have just one, and some others have as many as three or more. Like we all know, tattoos are permanent, at least until recently when they could be removed by laser. Nonetheless, it is even more expensive to remove one than to get one.
The difficulty and expense in removing a tattoo has made some people decide to live with it for the rest of their lives, especially when it was a bad idea to begin with.
A lot of Hollywood celebrities with tattoos they regret having or do not like said they got those tattoo when they were younger, or when they were not drunk perhaps.
Regrettably, some actresses got a tattoo to appreciate the person they were either dating or married to, but unfortunately, the relationship went south, and the actress had to get it removed.
A good example of this is Angelina Jolie, who got a tattoo of Billy Bob Thornton on her upper arm when they were married. After their divorce, she had to get it removed. She then got another one of Brad Pitt, but, regrettably, they have divorced as well.
Other notable actresses and stars like Denise Richards and Kaley Cuoco also tattooed their partner or spouse on their bodies, but when the relationship or marriage ended, they instead covered up the names of former spouse or partner with a different tattoo.
In the case of Jessica Alba, it is entirely different. At 17, she got a tattoo of a flower on the back of her neck. As an adult now, she says she regrets getting that tattoo and has lasered it several times to get it off, but it won’t come off.
She also has another tattoo of a bow in the middle of her lower back. She says this tattoo feels like a tramp stamp, and she is certainly ashamed of getting it as well as its position.
While some actresses and stars regret the tattoos they have, some have not one regret about getting ink on their bodies.
