Tyler Perry Says Meghan Markle Visited UK Stores For Infant Formula

At the Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood on Tuesday evening, Tyler Perry revealed that Meghan Markle had personally scoured stores for baby formula earlier in the year when there was a widespread scarcity.

According to Vanity Fair, the 53-year-old writer/director informed an audience of 800 people that he was contacted by a worker who was in a crisis and desperately needed infant formula.

After Perry’s personal search proved fruitless, he turned to pals in England, Meghan, and Prince Harry. Meghan embarked on her own search for the recipe while the California couple was in the UK, according to Perry.

The actor/director and Meghan have a history of supporting one another. Meghan and Harry remained at Perry’s Los Angeles estate while transitioning out of their senior royal posts in 2020.

They spent a few months living in the Beverly Hills mansion with their baby Archie Harrison before purchasing a home in Montecito. In June 2021, they would welcome their daughter Lilibet Diana.

Meghan recently disclosed that she and her husband had never met the filmmaker before they stayed in his house, a turn of events that highlighted Perry’s benevolence.

The host of the Archetypes podcast revealed to The Cut in its autumn fashion edition how she and Perry met when she wed Harry in 2019.

At the time, Perry assured her that he was praying for her, that he understood what it meant, and that he could only image what that must have been like. He also promised to be there for her whenever she needed support or guidance.
