The divorce proceeding between Gisele Bundchen and her ex-husband Tom Brady is no longer new news. With the divorce being finalized in a short period of time, sources revealed that this was made possible because the couple signed a prenup.
The ‘iron clad’ prenup as sources would call it helped the divorce to proceed faster and also helped the division of their empire to go swiftly and smoothly.
According to sources, this prenup was set down even before the couple got married in 2009. Because each of them had their own businesses and careers, separation of the wealth did not cause much of an issue. The only problem, however, seemed to be the property portfolio of $26m and how it was going to be divided.
After much deliberation, it is believed that the $17m mansion in Miami that is still under construction will go to Brady. The property was bought by the couple in 2020, and demolished.
While the divorce was still ongoing, Gisele reportedly purchased a modest three bedroom pad home in Miami beach for $1.25m. It is believed that she will be using this property as an office as she reportedly bought another large home in the same area.
With their property portfolio including a home in the Bahamas, another one in Montana, and an apartment in New York where Gisele had been staying when they split, Gisele will be keeping their home on the Nicoya Peninsula in Costa Rica.
Although the details of the divorce are being kept confidential, it is believed that the former couple will be sharing joint custody of their children, Benjamin aged 12 and Vivian aged 9.
