This is the last WWE Premium Pay-per-view event of the year for the main roster. This series is with two WarGames matches, plus two title matches and plenty more.
It’s the first time you will get to see the main roster (Raw & Smackdown) featured a WarGames match on a PPV/PLE. It is made obvious that Triple H and his dazzling team decided to spice things up this year.
Let’s talk about the Women’s WarGames match is came up first.
The opening video package aired playing the Black Sabbath song “War Pigs” with legendary rocker Ozzy Osbourne singing the song while clips were shown of the wrestlers competing on the show.
There was an impressive pyro display to welcome us to the show. The ever energetic Boston crowd gave rousing cheers to Michael Cole’s announcement that the attendance was 15,609 people.
No other commentators would have done it better than the talented PPV/PLE commentary team of Cole with Corey Graves.
There were cages by the entrance area as the women made their loud entrances. Bianca Belair led #TeamBabyface with Becky Lynch up first followed by Alexa Bliss, Asuka was next, “Michin” Mia Yim was fourth and the Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair was last.
Babyface team was up against for the team led by Bayley with Rhea Ripley up first followed Nikki Cross. Damage CTRL was next with Bayley and IYO SKY going into the cage.
Belair and Dakota Kai started the match for their respective teams.
Belair hit a dropkick early on. They went into the other ring with Belair hitting a shoulder tackle knockdown. Belair continued on offense with a backbreaker.
Kai in her strength got some offense as she sent Belair into the turnbuckle and hit a running boot to the face. Belair and Kai got back in the ring, Belair tried using the air as a weapon and Kai hit a Scorpion Kick to the head.
Belair got a hold of Kai leading to a slam backward. Belair sent Kai into the cage a few times. Belair then gave Kai a Powerbomb into the cage.
Iyo Sky was next up for her team as she hit Belair with a dropkick. This interval was three minutes long. Belair was on the turnbuckle, she did a backflip off the ropes and Sky did a headscissors takedown.
Kai and Sky took turns working over Belair a bit, but Belair countered a double team move with a double suplex. Sky hit a missile dropkick on Belair to knock her down.
Winners by pinfall: Team Belair – Bianca Belair, Asuka, Mia Yim, Alexa Bliss & Becky Lynch.
Winner by submission: Ronda Rousey.
On to the men wrestlers; The Bloodline keep reigning. Sami Zayn spurred Roman Reigns team to victory to help the team win a decisive victory at Survivor Series WarGames on Saturday thanks almost entirely to Sami Zayn.
Zayn didn’t stop at anything and had to stop longtime friend Kevin Owens from pinning Reigns, then gave low blow to Owens, and then a Helluva Kick, leading to The Bloodline’s victory.
It was the second of two WarGames matches of the night: The first, which opened the show, saw a returning Becky Lynch win for Bianca Belair’s team as recalled above.
Another highlight of the night was the triple threat bout for the United States Championship, which saw Austin Theory pin Seth Rollins to win the gold.
Theory was the sole new champion of the night, as Ronda Rousey successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Shotzi.
Sami Zayn’s loyalty to The Bloodline has been the talk going into the WarGames event as people cast doubt on his loyalty to The Bloodline.

On Friday’s SmackDown, Zayn gave his perfect reply where it can be most considered. Zayn’s longtime friend Kevin Owens had encouraged Zayn to turn on The Bloodline before The Bloodline turns on him.

At the end, it is revealed that Austin Theory is the future, again! Theory won the United States Championship for a second time at Survivor Series WarGames, pinning Seth Rollins to end a fantastic championship bout.
Rollins had landed a Suplerplex on Theory from the middle turnbuckle and hoisted him up for a Falcon Arrow when Lashley blitzed Rollins with a Spear as he held Theory up. Theory then fell on top of Rollins, getting the pin.
Remember that Ronda Rousey is still SmackDown Women’s Champion. She defeated Shotzi with a Judo throw from the top rope, followed by an Armbar submission that made Shotzi tap out.
