Meghan Thee Stallion gets restraining order against her label over AMAs

Meghan Thee Stallion has gotten a restraining order against her own label, 1501 certified Entertainment as well as her distributor 300 Entertainment ahead of the upcoming AMAs.

The American singer and rapper got a Texas Judge to back her up and got a restraining order as she claims her label made ”threatening and retaliatory” moves against MEGHAN using her own music at the American Music Awards (AMA)

At present, Meghan has been in battle with her record label with regards her contract, It is reported that Meghan believes she has fulfilled and satisfied the terms of her agreement and contract, and thus should be a free agent.

However, the record label, 1501 insists that she is still in debt as she still owes them more recordings.

Although the specifics of what her label and distributor said were nit disclosed to the public, the judge heard enough to grant her the restraining order against them.

They are hereby blocked and will not be allowed to interfere with her music being used on the award show.

For the upcoming show, Meghan was nominated for Favorite Female Hip Hop artist. While there will be a court hearing to hear from the record label themselves and the distributor, the date is set days after the award show, and this is believed to be a waste of time.
